Live free in the Sun! An elegant and modern solution for showing the Sunrise, Sunset, First and Last Light times to the exact minute for precisely where YOU are right now - not the "closest" city. The app also shows exactly how much daylight is left in the day - in a large, easy to read display - so you can plan ahead to the last ray of sunlight. Download it now. It shows: • Sunrise time • Sunset time • First Light time (Dawn) • Last Light time (Twilight) • Converts timezones for foreign locations • Counts down the amount of daylight left in the day until last light • At night, counts down the time left until the first light of the new day • Counts down days, hours and minutes left until the shortest and longest days • Dates of the equinox and solstice • Times of the equinox and solstice for premium users • See the Sunrise, Sunset, First and Last light times for any day in the future. • Length of daylight for today - or any day in the future. • Percentage of the day or night completed. • Correctly handles Daylight Saving times. • GPS access is not required. • Landscape support on iPad. An indispensable tool for those who don't want to waste a moment of the day - or the night! • We wrote this app for ourselves, but love sharing it and getting your positive feedback. I’ve been using this for a number of years. It’s simple. I use it to let me know what light level I will have to deal with at sunrise or Sunset when I am out on my bicycle
Deceiving app
I downloaded the app because it was exactly what I was looking for, sunrise, sunset and a 15 day forecast but when I try to get that 15 day forecast, it wanted to charge me for premium account. Why do I have to pay for it if it already says I can get a 15 day forecast. I haven’t used it, but I sure would like to, without having to pay to get what they said would come with the app in the first place.
There should be a one time fee
Paying $1.99 a month isn’t worth it to see sunrise and sunsets for the whole year. The only good feature that I really like is that it tells you how many hours of daylight are left and when the first light is and the last light. It’s very disappointing for the price. As far as the equinox, you can find that on any calendar. You have no way to preview all features it unless you pay for it. I canceled it right after.
Great for hunting/fishing since you really need to know when it will get dark or light
I use it constantly during hunting season
Favorite App
This is one of my favorite apps and one of the few that I actually paid for. Highly recommended!
Useful
Easy to retrieve information
Don’t waste your money
This is a simple app that you shouldn’t have to pay for. The free version is ok but there has to be better out there. And the amount of money they want you to pay for the information given is obscene. They aren’t offering information that you can’t find easily a million other places and the way it’s presented doesn’t justify the cost either. If you aren’t vision impaired and you just need quick info, the free version is fine. But no way am I paying $2 a month for it.
• Fix a bug where incorrect times and dates showed on the solstice / equinox screen. My apologies. Enjoy this brand new release and do let me know at the support website if you see any issues with this new version. Cheers.
