- shows publicly available air quality data for your locality (chosen automatically based on IP address and / or manually by you from PurpleAir, WAQI/AQICN or SmartCitizen) - gives 1 hour weather forecast (including air quality data & pollen prediction, if available globally) - lists potential pollution source data from Electrical consumption (availability of data varies globally) - shows road traffic data from Telraam - shows Climate Change data from US NOAA & NASA - very fast loading app to give quick updates to users - supports zoomed view in addition to standard - supports dark mode & light mode - free open source software Data is sourced from PurpleAir, WAQI/AQICN.org, SmartCitizen, CO2Signal/electricityMap & Tomorrow. Note that if you wish to use your own PurpleAir, SmartCitizen or WAQI/AQICN sensor, you need to transcribe the sensor ID manually from their websites to the app. I am actively developing this app, and am happy to receive comments, feedback & suggestions!
Seems ok but only shows LA for me
I want to like the app, and if you live in a big city it probably works well. In a small city it would only show me LA which is not even close. Changing the location did not work
Capable app. Needs some enhancements.
First off, I do like the app so far. However, there are a couple ideas for it. One: Allow the user to specify temperatures in the summary page to be displayed as Celcius or Fahrenheit. Mine are being displayed as Celcius, I prefer Fahrenheit. Two. Put an option to load automatically at system startuo. Having to use System Settings and manually insert the appp into the Startup Apps section is a hassle when one click could do it.
Great app, need enhancement
thansk for the greate app as air quality is not good in my area, I met an issue to update date on both WAQI and PurpleAir, when input right vaule, both of them have error, please take xi'an for testing and fix it, thanks
Great App
Love this app, the only thing i wish it had was to integrate local OA Temp on the menu bar icon or allow the choice between AQI and OAT.
Works as expected
Love the Purple integration. Works just as I expected. The only thing I wish was different was being able to remove the "M" in the menubar. It doesn't make sense and would look a lot cleaner without it.
Great App, one suggestion
I'm installing this on my Mac to have an ambient monitor of my PurpleAir sensor, and it seems great for that. PurpleAir has several different correction formulas that can be used, and I'd like the option to use the EPA's Woodsmoke correction. This is fairly often different from the basic AQI value and more relevant during California Wildfire season. Thanks!
California is burning and this app lets me know if I'll have school
Burn burn burn I do think it would look nicer if the M in the menubar could be hidden, and if the menubar used more contrasting emojis, because they are kind of dull.
