😀🌈very reliable and useful!😀🌺
Privacy is clearly not a priority
Despite paying for the ad-free version, technical ad delivery is always on. As is something about linking devices, device identification and maybe 100+ cookies that seemed to be tracking more than strictly functional. You can “reject all,” which surprisingly seems to apply to the poorly named “legitimate interests” cookies as well, so that's actually good. Jury's still out on whether this applies to new ad providers when added, or if they default to opted-in (as they do when you manually manage cookies). If you’re OK with the tracking bits, it’s a fine app. Locations are hard to search for and it covers fewer days than Yr (but seems less pessimistic).
Accuracy is OK, widget is unusable
I like and use this app for years. But the widget added recently is unusable. You see just “2…” instead of “28°”. Is it OK???
Privacy is clearly not a priority
Just saw the cookie settings, enforced by this app. So despite paying for the ad free version, technical ad delivery is “always on.” As is something about linking devices, device identification and a slew of other cookies that seemed tracking more than strictly functional. I wonder if their newfound openness on this is due to the privacy features supposedly arriving with ios 14.5. If you’re OK with the tracking bits, it’s a fine app. Locations are hard to search for and it covers fewer days than Yr (but seems less pessimistic).
Search function broken
Ever since last week’s app update, the search location has ceased to function. Great app otherwise.
Easy to use. Shame about the maps
Forecasts easy to use but the maps are clunky
Good in many ways
When I downloaded this app I had no idea it was from the UK. They don’t give you the option to have the hourly forecast times of day in the standard 12 hour am/pm format, they only use 24 hour military time, that’s common in Europe. They also don’t show what the current temperature is.
The app has an updated colour scheme throughout to improve readability and consistency for users.
