United StatesAvanti Weather, or AWeather for short, is a weather app for iDevices (iPhones, iPads, and iPods) that lets you manage weather forecasts from NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) and the National Weather Service (NWS) while you're on the go and away from the internet. Weather data can be downloaded for multiple locations when you have a net connection and can be viewed later whether you have a net connection or not. In addition to using the accurate NOAA/NWS forecast data, you can get the forecast for where you want it and not only for major metropolitan locations. The app supports larger text for Accessibility.

I guess they just don’t care anymore. Doesn’t load current day forecast, shows night before & tomorrow day but doesn’t load tomorrow night forecast either, then ok for every day & night after. Nothing on hourly forecast, radar crashes or takes forever to load, satellite data won’t load. I paid for the full version and now that they have our money they don’t support it anymore. Rip Off!!!

Great app, no nonsense. However, after the most recent update, I have one complaint. The new radar is much higher resolution, which is nice, but takes a SIGNIFICANTLY longer time to load/update the loop. Like 3 times as long as the old radar, which was 90% as good. On iPhone 12 w/ fast wireless connection or on 5g, doesn’t matter. There should be an option to choose radar resolution for low-bandwidth connections.

For months this app has failed to load all data for favorite locations. This has required repeated attempts at reloading. Worse, however, is the frequent crashes in which the app simply freezes. These issues are too much for too little in return. The same weather data is available elsewhere. Time to move along.
