Woofer Box Calculator PRO will help you design enclosure (box) for your bass car audio speaker (sub woofer). It was developed by 2012 and 2013 European champion in dB Drag Racing and was designed to be easy and transparent. It is better than other software because it also considers approximate cabin gain, power compression and port compression. Because of that, it can also predict final SPL in your car. Furthermore, it knows how to handle total (gross) box volume instead of net box volume. It can also calculate vented (ported) enclosures in the opposite way (e.g. it can calculate vent size or total box size for desired vent). It can even calculate optimal box for your car and equipment, for burping or for music, depending on priority (SPL to SQ). Projects can easily be saved and loaded. Boxes, Drivers and Vehicles can also be saved and loaded separately. Units an constraints can be changed under settings. This is the PRO version with without advertisement and all features unlocked!
Pretty accurate, helpful for quick sub box comparisons
I got this app expecting some garbage that wasn’t worth the $5, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s actually pretty close to real world scenarios and overall I like it. BUT….I will say someone that doesn’t have much car audio knowledge will struggle. TO THE DESIGNERS…will you please make an option for more than 1 round port? The way it’s set up now, the calculations aren’t accurate if you have more than 1 port in the enclosure. And maybe an overall explanation of what specifications are needed for say subwoofers, boxes, etc… Not everyone knows how to calculate subwoofer “sd” or “bl” nor know where to look. That would just make it easier for everyone, mainly people just beginning or just don’t know. Overall though, I’m pleased with the purchase

I love using it. Would you be able to add landscape mode? Also be able to change the plots cause my graph gets cut off and I can’t see the numbers especially when it’s low tuned.

This is a pretty good app! A help section would be great. I have a couple questions. When you use a rectangular port does it change the net volume to account for the port volume? Does it calculate rectangle ports as using common walls?

There were some bugs that made it impossible to save the Driver, Enclosure, and Project. They fixed 2/3. Driver and Enclosure can be saved, so I don’t lose my T/S parameters. Enclosure saves as well but it only lets me save one enclosure, so I can’t load different boxes. Project only lets me save one project as well. Overall the frequency curve looks okay, but I feel like under Enclosure the port area and lengths don’t match up with WINISD, Torres, and Ultimatecaraudioapp. I don’t use Calculate to find the frequency it’s supposed to be tuned to by inch2 and length. Still it’s a big improvement and the frequency curve somewhat matches up with my last sweep on SPL Lab
United StatesUseless without being able to actually “Save” anything
I noticed when I select Driver and enter t/s parameters for any subwoofer and click Save, it saves it as Driver 1. When I try to enter another subwoofer it tries to save it again as Driver 1 forcing me to overwrite the last subwoofer. That’s one problem. There is no database this way which renders this a one-and-done every time, forcing you to enter t/s parameters over and over if you want to use it. Secondly, and this is a big error, when I enter all t/s and save, I switch to Plot to see how it looks, but when I switch back to Driver, the parameters have reset. Last, another huge error which makes this app unusable, when I try to load Driver 1, it did not actually save the t/s parameters I entered So really it didn’t actually do anything. I wish there was a WINISD for AppStore

Nice app to give you a close idea of how your system will react - I would say the SPL estimates are in the kick panel but that’s a great starting point I’ve used to for small builds up to huge and was only off a db or 2
