It does not crack the network, or use the MAC/SSID to deduce the password... Master key password recovery app simply read passwords from device itself... Does absolutely nothing besides marking down open internet connections, the whole functionality of viewing wifi password that you have saved locally in your phone is a complete lie, Apple should allow us to just view them but instead we have to download a backwater app from some Vietnamese cider who sells out data to anyone with a penny
