Create your own Widgets with Shortcuts. With WidgetPack you can use the power of Shortcuts to design your own widgets. Use and modify the built-in examples to get started, or create a widget from scratch and unleash your creativity. WidgetPack has many elements built-in including images, symbols, text and more. All the elements can be transformed with shadow, colors and effects to create exactly the widgets you want. Shortcuts integration means you can take any kind of information and display it on your homescreen.
Widget doesn’t update
I took the time to create a shortcut, added it to WidgetPack but the actual widget doesn’t update like it should. It shows that it’s updated in WidgetPack but the widget itself just sits there. Really annoying to spend the money and time, and it doesn’t even do what it says it does.
Just as complex as the Shortcuts app - only it’s not free
From what I can tell, this app offers nothing more than the shortcuts app already offers. Way too complex if you’re not a coder or have some experience in that field. Waste of money
Invalid shortcut file
Running shortcut grid now says Invalid shortcut file after upgrading to iOS 15 and the new update for WidgetPack. Please fix.
This app is so much better & different than the others
Totally standalone in the field. Sorry this sounds so nerdy it makes beautiful widgets that are truly useful!!
Won’t open
The app isn’t able to open after I downloaded it. Restarted my iPad and iPhone and nothing. Hopefully this is resolved quickly. If not, save your money.
I really like the Shortcuts integration 👍
Two suggestions: - Change the widget’s initial text to say something like “Long press here and tap Edit Widget to configure this widget”. The existing “Please configure this widget” is too vague for us first-time users 😬 - Add some more pictures to your app store page. For example, some a shortcuts WidgetPack statements in it. Shortcut integration is a huge advantage for this app as far as I’m concerned 😄
A1
Easy to use and works well. Sometimes the widget is out of date but it catches up eventually. I assume iOS is caching them too aggressively.
- Lock screen widgets are supported - Added Charts - You can now render a widget to an image or PDF - Updated the available SF Symbols
