Make sure to scan the correct QR code
There are two QR codes on the plug that goes into the OBD port. The one to scan is on the tip of the plug, not the larger one on the back of the plug that takes you to the pairing instructions. You will get a “serial number error” message if you scan the large one.

We recently bought a used car that only came with one key. We wanted to avoid the $150-400 replacement key cost at the stealership, so bought this programmer and a highly rated key from that rainforest retailer. The hardest part was driving around town to find a hardware store that would cut the key which has to be done first before you can program the car to accept it. This app and the dongle worked fine, but I have a couple minor complaints. 1. The instructions are not super clear. I’m an IT network engineer, so gadgety things are well within my expertise. Still, the in app instructions weren’t great, and were actually wrong in one place. I still managed to figure it out and got the car programmed to accept the new key. 2. The app also shows the number of keys that the car is programmed to accept. However, there is no way to REMOVE keys from the car’s memory using this app. So now there are 4 keys that our car will accept, but we only have 2 of them and can’t disable the other 2. Would be great if the app would remove keys that the car hasn’t seen in months.

The costumer service was so bad this had to be a FAKE company their is no other way they are a total scam I lost 200 on a remote and installer that does not work. If you want to be in a phone call merry go round for the rest of time go ahead and call them for service

Before buying this product, I did a lot of research with the company and they said this would solve the problem of programming a new key. When I got into the app and try to program my new key, nothing worked. It’s sad because I don’t want to spend the money at a dealership, but it seems like this isn’t the cheap and easy solution I was looking for.

Didn’t work. Paired to mobile ok, followed instructions to the letter, But it would never get past the detecting turning on of the ignition. Tried ignition only and also tried starting car completely, neither worked.
