I must say, I was not happy with iOS 16. When Apple released it, many of my apps stopped working. Some worked fine with iOS 16 on older hardware but failed on my new iPhone 14 Pro Max. With that said, my old clock no longer functioned so I started the search for a replacement. It was not easy. I tried many and finally found this one. It looked like a very good replacement but it had one flaw, the dimming didn’t work on my new iPhone with iOS 16. I wrote the author and he confirmed the issue. I REALLY appreciate a developer who will write back when I have questions. He had the fix for it and posted within a couple of days. I now have a clock that I can show multiple family photos when dozing off at night. I look over at my clock several times in the night and happy to see it’s still on. I’ve given some suggestions for features. I certainly hope he can fit them in. It would make for a killer clock app that others are not even close to producing. Thanks again, JB!

I love the app but there are some issues that are prohibitive. I WANT the app because of the “picture frame” ability BUT, when you turn the lights off, the pictures will illuminate the room and becomes problematic. Even sliding the brightness all the way down is bright on an iPad in a dark room. I suggest the ability to just “swipe” to clock only screen when you go to bed. I also would like the ability to change the size of the font so the numbers stand out more across the room. Lastly, i worry about the clock being on the screen that long and burning an image onto my screen. Maybe have the numbers move slightly up and down occasionally. All in all, great concept, just needs some work.

The app is in the foreground. The sound of the phone is on maximum… NO SOUND when the alarm goes.

If the iPhone goes to sleep the alarm won’t be heard. I can’t trust this clock for wake ups until it works all the time. I still really like the look and simple features. I’m waiting for the fix. Update! The reason I got N-T Clock is to check out the date in the morning. I know right where to look if notification are coming up etc. It’s great to look at the ocean shot too, it makes you feel good!
