By directing a reader's gaze only to the initial highlighted letters, the brain is able to auto-complete the remaining part of the word. After enabling the extension in Safari, simply navigate to any website and tap the Speed Reader button in your toolbar to experience the difference!

Looking at the reviews I was concerned by the low rating but I took a gamble since I couldnt find another safari extension in the app store. This works amazing and makes reading articals so much easier. Its so worth the fee!

I bought it. I installed it. I went to a page and turned it on and off. Nothing changed. This does not work. I am disappointed. ☹️

They say they don't collect data but after you download the app, later in the extension section it will say it can see you search history, passwords and Credit Card info. Do not download this app!

I just got this app and it’s great for reading through websites on safari faster. It was a little challenging to get it going in settings. To set it up: go to settings, then safari, then extensions, then Speed Reader, then All Websites and finally select Allow. After I figured out how to do that it was great. It would be nice if the instructions on the extension itself were a little more detailed. When you go into a website it takes a heartbeat and then converts most of the text. I gave it four stars instead of 5 because some text doesn’t convert… like text that is listed in bullet points. In any case I am so happy to have this extension. Thank you for making it.
