Simplefax is designed for low-volume users who occasionally need to send a fax. It follows a 20/20 rule: you can send up to 20 faxes each month of up to 20 pages each. There are no additional costs, subscriptions, or recurring fees. To get started, simply drag in a PDF of the document you wish to send. Then type in your email and the recipient's fax number, and you're good to go! You will receive an email once the fax is delivered. Each month, the limit of 20 faxes will be reset. Faxes can be sent to the following country codes: +1 +7 +27 +30 +31 +32 +33 +34 +39 +40 +41 +43 +44 +45 +46 +47 +49 +54 +55 +56 +61 +62 +81 +82 +86 +91 +351 +352 +353 +358 +852 +966 +972
Does EXACTLY what it says it does
I had considered other Fax apps, but went this this one and paid the $10 because I needed to send a fax immediately to a client , wirelessly, from my notebook computer. (WHO FAXES ANYMORE?) Anyway, I was skeptical about the voo-doo working correctly since my previous experiences years ago was that faxing was always hit or miss from a computer. But Simplefax did EXACTLY what it was supposed to, and true to the name... it was Simple. Enter my email address, the receivers phone number, dragged a pdf to the drop well and hit send. BLAM. It worked perfectly and the client received the fax within a few minutes. Thanks. Great job, and I appreciate that it just worked.
So Far so good
6 months in and works well. Easy to use. Only downside is that I wish I could send it directly from a document to simple scan instead of having to open simplescan, then select the file. If it were an extension in the share menu on osx that would be amazing.
Better than web based per use
I just bought this to send a fax and its is supper simple. I was using web based faxes and having to pay thru paypal and not knowing until hours later it failed to send but I only have to do this once in a while. So between my iPhone 14 Pro Max/iPad Air M1/2021 M1 Macbook Air it's pretty easy. Get on my iphone when out. Open on opad sign, etc, etc and and use my macbook air to send it. It's really how this should be as I come from the day of dialup modems 110 baud and thermal fax machines @9600 baud. This is much simpler and in line with today's technology
Great for infrequent faxing- but have to add your own cover page
Just downloaded and used to send a fax. Simple, and like that for a one-time fee can use ongoing for occasional faxing. The app simply lets you fax a PDF to a number and provides completion feedback via an email, and also updates a fax log. SUGGESTION: it would be great if Matt added a cover page feature. I had to create my own cover page and add to the pdf file.
Brilliant fax solution - simply & easy
I tried another app with a 14-day free trial. It was a PITA to use and I had no need for an ongoing subscription. This app is easy to use, got the job done quickly, and for a very reasonable price. Thank you.
Saves me every time I need to fax something
Direct, straight to the point faxing when you need it. No frills, but that's okay! Love this app and it saves me every time I need to fax something when trhe only other option is snail mail... Thank you!
Does exactly what I want
I occasionally need to send faxes but not all that often. All the other apps wanted a subscription becuase, I've been told, of the need for constant updates as Apple's OS changes. This app may seem pricy but a subscription would be MUCH more.
