Description

Simple Switch is a simple app to control a single group of Philips Hue lights from your iOS device or your Apple Watch.

The interface is really... simple.  A large toggle switch to turn the lights on and off.  A vertical slider to control the brightness.  A popover to allow the user to select from a few pleasing colors.  

Do you need a way for visitors (babysitters, grandparents, friends) to control your Philips Hue lights without giving them your personal iOS device?  If you have an older iOS device available, install Simple Switch on it and leave it for your guests to use.

Simple Switch also has support for the Thermodo and can display the temperature if the user has a Thermodo.  (see http://thermodo.com)

Seems like a good idea....

I tried installing this on my sons iPad to control his room lights. He has disabilities so this seemed like a good app to let him control his lights but not impact other light setups in the house. I installed the app and tried to connect to our bridge. The app sees the bridge but won’t stay connected to it. There are no troubleshooting instructions for the app and even the feedback button doesn’t work. No documentation = no stars.

Good but too much screen brightnesd

It will be good if the screen brightness for the app is reduced. We ll open thisapp only in dark. It is too much light to eyes at dark time.

Simply great

I love this app because it is simple and just works perfectly. The user interface is simple and clear. No clunky UI. No hidden extra cost features have sprung out. You get way more than you pay for - it's free. To the author: Thank-you for writing this great app and providing it to the community. I will look for more apps from you, but please don't bundle them into this app - its perfect just the way it is, and there are very few apps I can say that about!
