For anyone who doesn't like the black notch in the menu bar, this is the app you should get. The notch is so ugly. Because of it, I was hesitate to purchase a M2 Macbook Air. As I found this app online and learned that this app can fully kill the notch. I decided to buy the Air. Thanks to it, I love my new Macbook Air Thank you for making this great app!

Well done and ended my tiresome search on the Internet for ways to fix the notch! This is the only solution I know of that uses a simple GUI to completely turn off the top strip of the screen that the notch occupies at a global level without complicated code or per-app scaling settings. The other not-free apps that claim to do what this app does, didn't solve my problem: they tried to work "around" the notch--I just wanted it gone completely at the expense of giving up a few rows of the top of my screen. And it toggles back and forth at will! This little app does exactly what I wanted: the top bezel gets bigger, and my full menubar comes back. I use some apps that ignore the notch completely (VMWare Horizon) and those hosted apps get stuck behind it and just are a mess. Also, I don't like looking at a taller than normal menubar: with the notch visible, the menubar is taller than it's been ever since I got my first Mac back in the 1980's. That just bothered me because it's different than what my eyes have seen for 35 years. I know I'm giving up a little bit of the gorgeous screen, but now I have options! This little app does what SHOULD have been included with OS X in the display settings area. It launces at log in, just does what it said it would do. If you want the ability to control the top of your screen at a global level and not just a scaling workaround, get this app! The price is just right too:)
