QuickContacts is a widget to quickly find a contact in your address book from the notification center. Click on a property to copy the value and show the other available actions, including: - Phone call - Facetime - Send message - Compose email - Open Maps - Open URL * Phone calls require that you have correctly configured Continuity and Handoff (http://support.apple.com/en-us/TS5458) ** QuickContacts needs to access to your contacts, you can grant this permission from: macOS System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy tab > Contacts
Does what it says
The new version works under Mojave. Makes contacts lookup fast and easy without need to open Contacts app.
Brilliant!
QuickContacts is a genius idea and a real bargain at $0.99 - I would’ve happily paid more for it. It’s so simple, it feels like it should be native to the OS - it’s a searchable Contacts widget for your Notification Center. With QuickContacts installed, you no longer have to launch the Contacts app or have any other app open to look up one of your contacts. (A word of caution: when you start searching, don’t be alarmed by the huge list of contacts and missing search bar when you type the first letter - continue typing and the list gets smaller and the search bar reappears.)
Works great for me
Very nice, clean, and works quickly. It pulls in my contacts (after requesting permission to access them) and filter thru them very fast.
notification center crashed after frist use
Might be good in theory but does not work at least not for me. The Notification Center crashs when I enter the frist letter into the search field.
