Great to know! January 29, 2020 This is a basic QR code generator that works simply and intuitively. Yes, it loads the runecats.com QR when you first open it, but once you enter your URL (or whatever text you need) it creates a new code. You can then change the color if you like and export in a number of useful formats (tiff, eps, etc.) It does appear that this is considered "legacy" software by Runecats so I'm not sure if there is any support for future Mac OS compatability. Perhaps that is why it's so inexpensive?

The other two people don't know how to use the app. Type data (whatever text you want), hit enter, then copy. You'll actually see the QR code change after you hit enter. Then aim your iPhone's camera, and it'll automatically ask you if you want to go to the website, or whatever.
