Perfect training tool for a group
This has been a big help for training. We can see a trend and it is so much easier than trying to keep records on paper to share with one another. The best part is the customer service. They are incredible. After sending an email, I get a very quick response. I highly recommend this app if you are trying to track your dogs potty, feeding, medicine, schedules.
Decent, minimalist, no frills all business app
I like it, clean, simple. I would prefer 5 min increments when setting time of event. WatchOS app doesn’t care about multiple dogs, will stick with the first dog listed. Not a biggie, but I’m a nitpicker.
Overall good dog tracking app for the price
I find this app to be very useful in potty training my pup. It makes it very easy to track anytime she goes potty so we can start to build a routine and know approximately when she needs to go out. The app goes beyond just potty training though. You can really track anything you want like, food, water, medication, treats, walks, training, play time, etc. and you can add duration or set a reminder for any activity which I really like. I can see us using the app beyond just the puppy stage. I’m also a fan of the fact that it allows my wife to track things from her phone and it all syncs up together so we can both log stuff for our dog in case the other person is not around. The reason I gave it four stars has to do with a few things that annoy me about the app but don’t necessarily dissuade me from using it. Firstly I’m not a fan that you are stuck with using only the basic emojis that are on your phone for tracking, which I have to say are not really dog related. You have to get pretty creative if you do more in depth logging like we do. For instance there isn’t a brush emoji (aside from a toothbrush), if we wanted to track nail clipping your options are limited to a nail painting emoji (but maybe you’re more creative than I am), the app suggests water droplets for peeing but that gets confusing cause we also use the single water droplet for water, and I’d like to go beyond just the poop emoji to track what type of poop it was (solid, soft, etc), you can add notes but I’d still prefer an image. Also, to be honest emojis are kinda ugly. I’ve seen other similar apps that have a much better UI and have pre built dog specific icons that you can use to track things, not to mention the icons are actually uniform and match the overall app design, but they were more expensive so we ultimately went with this app. A solution could be adding a feature which allows you to add your own icons/emojis or even just having some more specific ones from the developer would me nice. Like a mentioned before I really enjoy the ability to share tracking with my wife but I don’t really like the fact you have to be in an iCloud family to share it. The other option is to give the other person your login info but I’m not keen on that option either. My wife had to leave her other iCloud family group just so we could share this app which means it will be difficult if we ever needed someone else to watch our dog and track for us. Lastly there doesn’t seem to be a profile section for your dog at all besides a picture and their name. No ability to add birthdate, weight, chip # etc. Seems like a missing feature to me. Overall though I think it’s a great app for the price and just needs a few adjustments.
Mère remember the paid subscription
App constantly needs to restore subscription. Very annoying.
Just what I needed but lacks some features
I love the app very easy to use and track, but lacks some important features. Calculate average time between meals and potty to give the user an alarm when the dog might want to go after the last meal/water provided. Add a button to register if it was an accident or not, and chart this, easier to see how many times and how often he has accidents.
What dog poop
Let’s you record for 5 entries before asking you to pay. This is a good app but you have to pay $5 a month to just record your dogs habits. Good if you’re rich and have money to blow.
Great app. One suggestion
Great app. In the calendar view, would be helpful to get a line for the current time
