Nice app
This is a great app. The only thing that I see is that one user can log into the system with multiple devices and have an advantage picking up jobs over someone who only has one device. If you can solve this issue everyone will have a equal opportunity to pick up jobs.
Nothing but problems
Our agency has used this for nearly a year and I’ve personally lost thousands of dollars in missed job opportunities bc of it. It allows for favoritism and abuse. Once details are advertised and taken, it is anonymous. Nobody knows who took them or how many were taken. People are allowed to select every available job all at once and then broker or give them to their friends. ODM has work schedules and special groups of officers made and input into the system, so every job isn’t fairly advertised to every employee. If you aren’t properly listed in a group then you won’t even see the job as it comes out. I can no longer request vacation time to work a high paying detail bc ODM doesn’t allow me the opportunity. The notification tones on the iPhone do not work, whatsoever. All of my settings are correct and while a push notification may appear, it doesn’t make a sound. I’ve been holding my phone in my hand before when a job selection appears and I didn’t know it because of the app’s issues. You literally have to be looking at your phone when it comes across or someone else will take the job before you can. We have lost off duty employers due to the added cost and aggravation. They charge a fee larger than the agency was previously charging and the ODM employees have made it a huge headache to get signed up for jobs. Vendors look to other agencies without ODM now. In conclusion, it is a great idea with absolutely terrible execution. If your agency chooses to go with this app then be prepared to lose money.
Earned money
I wish if there was a function that shows amount of money earned month to date or year to date or something similar. That would help planning for tax time
Unreliable application
Recently our agency rolled out OfficerTrak to our entire Department. Despite having been forewarned of the increased number of users the application crashed multiple times despite assurances that the app could handle additional users. Even after “fixing” the issue the application randomly closes once it’s opened and I have been receiving text notifications for jobs to bid on and when I open the app nothing appears in the open jobs tab. Multiple contractors who have attempted to schedule jobs through the app or by telephone have said the system is difficult and not as user friendly as previous systems in place.
Great off duty
Love how easy it is to clock in and out. No issues in getting paid. This is one of my most use off duty apps.
Crashes Constantly
The number of times it crashes mid use is frustrating
Worst app ever
The app doesn’t have enough band width, isn’t easily used, and when you are in a time crunch to sign up for mandatory OT it asks you to rate the app. Complete trash!
