Veepeak WIFI OBD II Scanner
Works with Veepeak Mini WiFi OBD II Scanner Adapter. Why all the negative reviews? This works if you use a WIFI OBD II Scanner like that from VEEPEAK. I don’t need to use this software much becuase I use IOS software but it is an option none-lhe-less. I am using it on a Macbook air 2012 with MAC OSX High Sierra. Not sure how well it will work with an Apple M1 or M2 processor and later system software.
Works well with WIFI scanners - Shows CAN bus signaling
It works with WIFI OBD2 scanners. Dont’ bother trying bluetooth. I used a VEEPEAK VP01 OBDCheck, OBD-II Scan Tool. WIFI dongles are less costly than blue tooth dongles and have more reliable/stronger signaling. I was able to save reports and scan results directly to my laptop. BTW - I used the VEEPEAK dongle and this software on a 2006 LEXUS GX-470. The trouble codes read out helped me diagnose a bad gas cap allowing gas vapors to escape. I was able to use the WIFI VEEPEAK dongle with an iphone and “Car Scanner" software as well. WIFI might take a little longer to read but it has conveneiences. I have yet to try driving around in my car with this software to show the software guages. I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews here unless they are trying to use a bluetooth dongle.
Does not work
The app doesn't work. Refund??
DO NOT BUY
Connects to obd device, reads one parameter then disconnects from the device. And i even have the wifi ELM
ONLY works with WiFi devices
Description mentions that this does not work with Bluetooth devices. It also does not work with USB devices. The only kind of device that can be connected is a Wifi scanner. Another review mentioned that it only works with ELM327. My USB device is an ELM327. Apparently then it works only with ELM327 WiFi versions. Description should be updated accordingly.
ONLY Works with ELM327 devices
This does not work with my old USB interface scan tool.

I’ve purchased this app and it doesn’t connect to my car’s computer. I’ve contacted developers with this issue and they didn’t even bother to respond.
