OBD2-Expert is the new competent solution for vehicle diagnostics and monitoring. === The Highlights === A) Reveal vehicle problems before visiting the garage. B) Load vehicle status files and try the functionality of the app. C) Share your vehicle status with others and discuss solutions. D) For developers: Use this app as BTLE-OBD2-ScanTool instead of an expensive hardware simulator. E) For learning: Use this app as BTLE/WiFi Bridge and inspect the protocol communication. === The Details === A) Reveal vehicle problems before visiting the garage. Connect an OBD2 WiFi or BLE adapter to your vehicle and select it from the app. View the current sensor data. Load the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) and inspect the freeze frame data from when the error occured. The component monitoring can tell you about potential problems by showing contiguous and non-contiguous monitors as well as a detailed analysis of mode 6 diagnostics (if supported by your vehicle). If you can fix your vehicle yourself, reset the saved DTC. B) Load vehicle status files and try the functionality of the app. Tired of buying promising apps that don't work? Try this app for free by loading a vehicle status file instead of connecting it to an adapter. C) Share your vehicle status with others and discuss solutions. With this app, you can capture the state of your vehicle including all DTCs and sensor data – either for later diagnostics or to share with other people. D) For developers: Use this app as BLE-OBD2-ScanTool instead of an expensive hardware simulator. Are you developing an OBD2-ScanTool and not having access to dozens of vehicles with their protocols? This app can work as a BLE-OBD2-ScanTool adapter, sparing you the cost of a professional hardware simulator. E) For learning: Use this app as BTLE/WiFi Bridge and inspect the protocol communication. If you want to learn about the OBD2 protocol communication, you can use your BTLE dongle and bridge it via WiFi to another OBD2 app (this requires an iPad Pro where you can run two apps side-by-side or another physical phone or tablet). === Supported Bluetooth hardware === Please note that this App will _not_ work with Bluetooth 2.x or 3.x adapters! This is a hardware limitation which can't be changed. Many very cheap BTLE OBD2 adapters are not Bluetooth 4.0, so please be aware of that. === Closing Note === OBD2-Expert is not a oneshot project. We want to support and continually develop this app. Hold your breath for exciting coming features. Please use the Support-URL to communicate your feedback to us!

Rip off
Buyers be warned, this doesn’t connect to any Bluetooth device, complete waist of money. Tried different Bluetooth devices and never worked.
Not compatible with Kiwi 3
Does not work with my Kiwi 3, always shows as “not an adapter” when I try to connect. I sure with I could get a refund after paying for the in-app unlocking if that feature…
Can’t test to see if it is compatible with my OBD2 adapter.
The Bluetooth connection is an in-app purchase. Can’t test it with my adapter without paying.
Does nothing free
Requires purchase to use blue tooth or WiFi. Says there’s a file option for free, but what use is that?
Worthless without paying first
Hi. I download this app to test my OBD II Scanner, but it’s worthless unless you pay for it. A much more honest company would charge a few bucks for a working app. This tricks you into thinking at least basic features would be available. Well, I have the perfect solution. I’m deleting it now Try DashCmd. It’s a good app, well when it works. My WiFi shows the scanner but nothing connects. Remember back a while when there were actually honest companies? This guy doesn’t seem very honest or it would state right up front a payment is required, but he’s right, I would have never downloaded an app that’s broken before you can even test or use it. If it were any good, you’d be able to easily see that in a working app. A basic connection and even basic info to prove it works and is worth the investment, seems like it be a much better app. This just wasted my time, so I complimented the dishonesty with a fair review
Now 30% less data traffic due to a more compact transfer syntax.* In some rare cases during setup the App claimed that a WiFi controller wasn't recognized, although it was already identified.
