I usually don't pay for apps because I usually don't feel the need for it. I have used NetGuard for over a year now and decided to pay for all premium features because this is the best app in the Play store. Block apps from WiFi/mobile data and use them without annoying ads and trackers!

I've been using the full version for 4 months without any problems. The simple GUI is great for ease of use. The reliability combined with the amount of options available gives this app five stars. Netguard is also open source and heavily maintained by the owner. I was able to commit a small change via a PR a few months ago. Well done Marel!

This app is the best thing since man invented asodomy. Truly saves you a huge amount of data by blocking background secret information to there app owners usually information about you and your movements and they use your data to get your private information. 5/5 good job net guard love it..

This app blocks data to apps via wifi and/or mobile data (either or both if you want). It also has a "lockdown all data" feature that blocks everything. This is a great feature for games, & other apps that want to load ads. It's cut my kids' mobile data usage by 80% since they've started using it.

Hard to find an app that actually does what is claims to do, I got so irritated with the # of apps that are either deceptive or barely function as described, that I very rarely attempt trying out a new app. But am quite pleased so far with the functionality of this app & it is user friendly without all the unnecessary bells & whistles that just clutter up your storage space. There isn't much else out there like this app, and it does its job well. The app is well maintained (thank you!) and is full of good features. I love the ability to unblock everything when the screen is on, then block it when the screen is turned off. You can optionally purchase a pro feature or two to turn off ads and support the developer/project.

This is a fantastic app. I use adguard which I think I'll keep using for the automated protection, but this app is great to use to look into which apps are calling home and serving your data to ad agencies and get more specific than adguard. To be able to look at individual addresses and their app associations and then investigate via built-in whois lookup is just phenomenal. I wish I could use this and adguard concurrently.
