Insurance card The former plastic card has now evolved into a digital insurance card. You can automatically have your policy attached to a pdf, ready to be emailed to a hospital or medical provider instantly. Contact numbers Under contact numbers, you will find all relevant information concerning Swisscare and it’s different partners, claims services and emergency 24/7 phone numbers. FIND A DOCTOR (Geolocalisation) Find a Doctor In the app, you can find the nearest medical service provider registered on Google, based on your geolocation data, such as hospitals, pharmacies, doctors or specialists. CLAIMS Claims Register your claims directly online, take pictures of your invoices, proof of payments. etc… and in one click, send it directly and securely to the claims service in charge. PROFILE Profile Under Profile, you can edit your policyholder address and correspondence address. NOTIFICATION Notification If you wish, MySwisscare will provide notifications for all important transactions and statuses directly in the app.
Awful customer service
I tried to use swisscare as my health insurance provider to study abroad. I purchased my plan and submitted my documents and visa to the consulate for review. After a week the consulate said that the health insurance would not be sufficient for their country so I asked Swisscare to cancel my insurance policy. I went back and forth with the customer service person through email. Several days of communication. They kept telling me to send unnecessary personal information. In the end they refused to refund me. This company is a mockery of the word “Swiss”. Switzerland is known all over the world for their class and service. I didn’t see that from this company. This is a lousy company trying to profit as much as they can. They do not care if you want to cancel your policy. They will not assist you or cancel it for you. Do not use swisscare, it may be the cheapest option but it is the worst! My visa process has now been delayed, and I wasted so much time communicating with them. You’re better off using a different insurance provider. Trust me.
