myPLDT Smart

I have been in the Philippines since Dec. 2022 and I am surprised that a company like PLDT has a poorly designed app that is so frustrating to use, I hope this that not reflect the technical skills of the Filipino.

App is poorly designed, lacks continuity, lacks required instructions, leaving the user to figure out how to get around the app or how to complete a task on their own. For instance, to view an ebill, turns out the ebills are password protected. Yet, as a new customer, I have not received instructions on how the password were set. Hence, good luck with that!

This app is ridiculous if you tap nothing changes on the screen. You tap and tap and tap. Nothing happens. Well if you created the app you know you must scroll after tapping. So the procedure is tap and scroll because PLDT is too cheap to build a functioning app. Additionally, I could find my current bill because of that. Its obvious to me, PLDT doesn't care about its customers. Just look at the ratings. Nothing changes for the better. Tried to contact customer service via the app. The only options were to change address or change phone number. I selected one and they responded, pay your bill. I do that every month for 4 years. PLDT it's not due until April 4th. Thanks for the unhelp. You guys are nothing good
