Sensors are broken
There are no working CPU temperature sensors No voltage sensors are supported No current sensors are supported Similarly priced competitors offer more functionality
great but...
16.3 seems to have broken the widgets.
I want to recommend but it now has issues.
It shows great info. It is highly customizable. Recent Mac Updates have broken this app for me. I may try a fresh install of Ventura and try it again as I have other issues but this App is not working. This is on a 2918 Intel Retina Macbook Air. It has a bug or some issue causing the CPU to go to 100%. Plugged in or not plugged in. Sometimes it happens when my lid is shut and supposed to be sleeping.
Used to be great.....
not so much anymore. Using on a 2018 Macbook Air. I used this to show all sorts of information. Now it just makes my fan and CPU go to 100% burning the thing up. Can't seem to pinpoint what module is causeing it. The Widgets use a lot of resources too.
Bug Report
There's a bug where this app makes the CPU spike and stick at a high speed. This has happened to me a couple times. This last time is was after a restart. It stuck at 69% usage and when I checked the activity montitor it was this app using most of the system resources. After i quite it, it resumed normal operation.
Lowers network speed when on
Speed test shows 200 MB/s without MenuBar stats open, and 95 MB/s with it on. Why? lol
Fantasitc. Works on M1
Had a problem w/ the helper app on my new M1 MBP. Sent email to support, had a response back in 10 minutes with the exact fix. This is a universal app and runs fine on M1
