United StatesLSwitch is a Mac menu app that let you control your LIFX lightbulbs. You can turn On or Off any device, set color and dim your lightbulbs. You can also turn On or Off all devices by pressing a button. The app will find automatically all your LIFX devices on your local network. You can only control the devices on the same local network with your Mac.
Unhelpful App
On my mac, it doesn’t recognize the Lifx MiniC V3.28 lights (even in the same room as app). No help menu, and Settings Menu offers only All Lights On/Off, Attach/Detech from menu, and preferences for shortcuts. No options for adding new lights. This app is a mistake for free. Charging $5 is inexcusable.

You need to add our “FAVORITES” as an option. I don’t need to have all the Bells and Whistles that my phone or iPad App has ( Although I don’t know why you can’t) but would it kill you to put just a little effort into this app? And if not, this App should be 99 cents at best!

I only have one light so I don't know if groups are supported. I would guess no. There are about 80 useable colors to choose from. There are NO white color temperature choices. Big omission. Hopefully groups and white temperatures will be included in an update. Thanks ... Ken

This is not even close to the FREE app that you can download on your iPhone. It literally only turns the light on or off or dims. You can’t use any of the themes or effects or any of the best features of the actual bulb. Complete waste of money.
United StatesI'm sorry to say… it's not what I expected!
i was so excited to see that there was a desktop app for the bulbs , but it was a huge mistake perchsing it! it lacks lots of options that a person can use, and it's not useful at all and annoying that there's no option that say is that it's loading or anything or information that can be useful to the user. I wish that the developer that could make it better next time so everyone can enjoy what we paid for this application. I have to say that for now I got something just useless. I'm actually connected now to my rooms wi-Fi and nothing is working. And I hope it gets an update soon! Regards
