Nice app, kinda of buggy on Ventura
Really like this application. Do wish you could outline the current city being displayed with a slowly flashing minimal outline. On Ventura it does not blacken the whole screen leaving the top section the default background and the rest black.
Loved this... but is it abandoned?
Last update appears to be two years ago (version 1.29). Some of it breaks under Ventura, at least on Apple Silicon -- app does not open at login, preference to do so does not remain set even after checking it, the app sometimes just quits out of the menubar. We've not heard anything from the developers about it.
Beautiful but temperature is useless
The app itself is great, but whatever is being used for temperature is never right. It's currently almost 80 degrees where I live - as reported by Apple, weather.com, and local news stations, but the app says it's 70.
Broken
Has worked flawlessly across both MacOS and iOS since I bought it but recently won't stay open on either my M1 Mac or the two iPads I use as always-on weather stations. App will open on my Mac but not stay open and the iPad app will crash intermittently while also not rendering the globe properly. Would love to hear back from the developer about my issue...
A beautiful app, and useful too!
The interactive view of global weather is fabulous. I've got a list of cities where my friends and family live, and the app sweeps through the list to show the weather in each location. The only negative is that it takes over all desktops when that feature is activated. I would like it to appear on just a single desktop (of the 8 or 9 available).
*** Updated. Now working with macOS Monterey
I initially wrote a less-than-stellar review, as this app was not working with macOS Monterey. Updating to say that it is working well now. This app is a very nice addition, and looks great. A good buy at $12.99.
No support for macOS Monterey
I want to like this app, but it is worthless in macOS Monterey. Nothing displays on the screen. I feel like I've just wasted $12.99 for an app that is absolutely incompatible with my computer. Absolutely do not recommend.
