Great product
I’m able to control watering from anywhere using my phone. It isn’t hard to use—takes maybe 5 minutes to learn. Easy to install. One of a very few technologies that I can honestly say made my life easier.
requires an account
no sprinkler would need my data return
Excellent App
Very impressed with the design and completeness of this app, heads above anything else in this category!
Requires UX/UI improvements
Why social media buttons in the bottom of the app? Lots of Icons with no text/description what they do. Otherwise useful app.
Service down- unable to sync new device
Sorry for theOne star review, I’m just not sure how to get product support and thought this would get the attention. Your website is down and I’m unable to sync my new device. I found a support email online somewhere but I’m not sure if it’s functional. Thanks for your help I’ll be happy to change my review once I hear back.
UI is horrific
A lot of people are impressed that this thing connects and does does what it’s programmed to - that’s because it isn’t wifi and they’re used to wifi trash smart home devices. The real problem with this app is it *looks* like one or two newer programmers (~5 years experience) wrote it how they thought it should work with little or no feedback from users taken into account and no experience with UI design. It was definitely not planned well before being built and it’s obvious where the developers’ early decisions trapped themselves into bad design. This is one of the most thoughtless UI designs I’ve seen in a long time.
Good product with terrible UI
Everytime you have to perform an edit on your watering plans, it takes DOZENS of steps. This is beyond annoying. Let's say the weather changes and you want to edit your 10 min into 5 min. Should be straightforward right? Well, count on the LinkTap team to make it a nightmare. Additionally, it doesn't adjust to Daily Time Saving, and several features are not clear, like "Eco" 1:1 --> will it water for 10 min, or will it water for 5? Overall, the watering system is good, but the app very disappointing and annoying on a daily basis.
