App no longer working
App was working ok for those moments you needed to lock or unlock car at a distance. But now app just shuts down every time you open it (iPhone, latest version of app and iOS). This should be a simple app for our high end cars. Don’t try to make it overly complicated - it just needs to lock/unlock and show details about the car. Come on guys, get this fixed.

Over the next last 6 years I’ve owned three LR, the apps worked exactly as you’d expect to for all three, only issue I did have was resetting the password once which LR was quick to help with.

The account creation process is atrocious. Super complicated. Plus, one cannot assign multiple accounts to a vehicle, forcing you to share login credentials with other drivers. Depending on where one is in the app, up to five taps are required to log out of it. Closing the app does not automatically sign you out. When you open the app again, the app doesn’t prompt you for your credentials, it just goes right in.

You can’t retrieve a forgotten password because it says invalid email, can’t register because it says wifi or cellular is not on when it is… so it has you expend effort on any front of the app, and then basically wastes your time and produces the ability to do nothing

I bought my Land Rover Off of a non Land Rover Dealer. As A Used Vehicle. I or the Dealer Selling me this car didn’t know about needing this app for a remote start I found out about it by research of the cars features. What I found was that the previous owner of the car was still registered to the the car through this app. Which means they could track my location, my address, wherever the car was. They would be able to start it, track it, possibly even take it if they were to have a key. I had to call Land Rover to get the previous owners removed. This is a very concerning and personal information problem. It’s a huge Flaw in Security and seriously needs to be reevaluated about the use of phone apps to control a car.
