ISD GO is an APP specially used to connect Aster wireless smart devices, so as to provide users with a more convenient and user-friendly user interface to operate Aster's smart devices. We have added the following features in ISD GO: 1. Bind Esther BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) smart device Users can bind Aster Bluetooth smart devices with their mobile phones, so that they can wirelessly access and operate the devices through their mobile phones. 2. Firmware upgrade When a new device firmware is released on the official website of Esther, ISD GO will automatically detect it, so as to realize the firmware upgrade of the smart device.
Bluetooth will not connect
What ever you do don’t update the software because you will never connect to the discharger again through Bluetooth. These developers don’t even care to fix the issue. So don’t buy the ISDT FD-200 if your looking for the Bluetooth features.
Computer Doesn't Recognize
I just plugged in my N8 to my Mac OSX 14.2 and the app does not find or recognize that I have plugged in the charger. Charger does power up when connected just fine.
Cannot update firmware
Useless. I have to use Windows app in virtualbox.
Terribly glitchy with the ESC70
Doesn't stay connected via BT, more Error messages than anything, not terribly intuitive, timeout messages etc, just a lousy non functioning app all around.
Does not support the Air A8 at all
On macOS, the A8 Air is not seen, whether cabled directly via USB-C nor as a Bluetooth device. Firmware cannot be updated because the device cannot be seen or found.
Looks good, preforms bad
Downlaoded for 16N, shows 8n is device it is seeing. says latest firmware is N Series V1.2.0.5 and what is on the device that it destroyed 3500mAh Li Ion AA's says Current Version is V1.2.0.6 so version on device is newer that what is on website.
TERRIBLE!
Just purchased K4, came with firmware 1.0.0.6. Downloaded ISD GO for Mac. Opened it. Plugged in USB - Go saw my unit and showed correct firmware installed. I clicked on "Check for updates". Showed latest is 1.1.0.19 As a retired software developer I knew that is a huge number of releases from what is in my K4. Clicked on Update. Started - stalled - clicked on Update and it continued for 3 seconds - this continued for at least a dozen clicks on updates. I actually waited 1/2 hours before the first time I clicked on Update but the bar indicator indicated it was just stalled. Now, finally finised the "Install" message appeared. As routine I did a Check for update BUT it showed it had not installed the update. I have now tried 3 times to install the latest firmware. No luck AND THE K4 IS LOCKED ON ITS SCREEN SHOWING "UPDATE" - NEVER DID THE K4 SCREEN GIVE ANY INDICATION IT WAS INSTALLING OR INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETE. NOW, THE K4 IS LOCKED UP!!! HORRIBLE PROGRAMMING BY ISDT.
