First, I’m going to vent about my extremely long review completely disappearing when I paused for a second!!! Aaauugghhh!!!! It was a REALLY good one too, dev! (As well, I ended up talking about a couple of hacks I know because they sorta relate to this app - one clears up some of that precious device HD space that we’re all hoping someday Apple gives us the ability to add SD cards to & expand upon & the other was where & how you can get TONS of cool emoticons using symbols & shapes we don’t have on English keyboards!) Unfortunately, I don’t have time today to retype it all & tell you all those 2 hacks, but I’ll come back here another time & revise my review to add them and all the other things I wanted to say about this app… So, my main point in this review was that this app has ALL the same stuff the other font apps have (I know because I downloaded 16 different ones! Lol!), fancy & colorful keyboards, lots of fun & neat fonts, emoticons to high heaven, AND this app is FREE and has NO IAP!!! The other apps may have some of the same options & designs, but they aren’t free & require either paid subscriptions or a one-time fee to unlock all the features. So, after all the money I spent over the past 15yrs… (back then the decent apps cost money upfront to download them & then had IAP to unlock more premium features, but they didn’t require these weekly/monthly/yearly subscriptions, & it feels a bit unfair to me because I already spent a good amount of money on the majority of the apps I like & currently have, but now I have to spend MORE just use the app at all - but I know, these reviews mainly being to & for the app developers themselves, this is probably the wrong audience for this complaint, so I’ll move on…! Lol!), sorry, this is continued from above! …back when I got my first iPhone & then I found that most amazing thing on it: something called an “AppStore”? It was all full of zillions of fun games, SO many interesting & helpful office-type aids (which was where I worked) and then I went into full-blown APPOHOLICISM! So, yeah, I’ve spent my share of money on apps, so to find this one & have even more features than some of the others & it’s ALL free, was VERY cool to me!!! (And I don’t want to be misunderstood, I realize that you devs literally spend an uncountable amount of hours making these apps & keeping them compatible w/all the diff phones, diff operating systems, all the diff operating system versions, all the diff desktops, desktop operating system versions…I think I got my point across, and to only get paid a one time payment of $1.99 by whatever number of people actually see it & then however many decide to actually download it, just for you to have to continue to work on it for the lifetime of cell phone existence (that would be the best end result for any app that’s made, I’m guessing?) in order for it to be compatible w/all those options mentioned above, is VERY ridiculously underpaid. So, I DO understand all the work that must go into making an app & the upkeep of it as well, & that’s why I haven’t, after as much experience as I have testing & using them! I just don’t know a fair middle ground? If they’d started out using the subscription method it wouldn’t make any difference, but since we’ve already spent so much money having to buy apps to download them at all, it puts all the costs & fees cattywompus, in terms of whether the app’s worth it.) LOVE YOUR APP!!
