Fontcase is an app that lets you install custom fonts on iOS and iPadOS. 1) Import fonts from your iCloud Drive or Dropbox and add them to your collection of favorites. 2) Tap on any listed font and you'll get a preview of the characters along with other metadata. 3) When you're done collecting, install your fonts in Settings and they'll be available in other apps, including iWork, to make your documents look better than ever. Fontcase is completely open source, so your privacy is insured. The app only adds fonts to your settings and does not modify them at all in the process. For more information on why this is important, see the app's Help tab. Enjoy!
IT WORKS ON KINEMASTER
This 3rd party app was an absolute banger for iOS. It worked on KineMaster.
app does not import selected fonts
I am used earlier iOS 17.2, and now iOS 17.3, and the Profile showed up in VPN and ..., but it would then disappear before I could do anything with it, like clicking it to select that Profile. This app does not work on iOS 17.2 nor iOS 17.3. Can you tell me how to make the app work?
Unable to download config file, payload error
I tried to install, received the following “ Profile Error The payloads in this profile do not have unique Payload identifier values. ("com.iconfactory.xfonts.Ade- gail" is used more than once.)”
Solid but issues
The good: this is the only app which had consistently worked in adding new fonts onto an iPad. The bad: can’t remove fonts and if there is an issue with a file then you can no longer install new fonts. The help tab has nothing to say on how to delete or have any troubleshooting instructions for the app.
Outdated or never worked?
Does nothing. At least the profile it makes you install only tries to set a font variable somewhere, but it doesn’t do anything on current iOS…
It does not work.
Waste of time. Avoid.
Please update
Doesn’t work iOS 16.3
• Updated install instructions Changes on 2.0 • xFonts is now Fontcase - new branding to avoid confusion with another font app • Now supports installing fonts from iCloud Drive and other Files storage locations like Dropbox • An imported font can be previewed with its metadata • Extensive help explaining the font installation process • Support for Light and Dark Mode in iOS • Adaptive layout that works well on all devices including iPad Pros to iPhone SE
