Folder Peek Is Great
Best finder folder drop down menu bar for simple accessing important folders.
WHattTTT??
Where have you been all my life. I've always wanted to simply put a folder into the top menu bar, have tried a few different one's that claimed they did it, but to no avail. This one is epic, simple, and works amazingly well. xoxo
I didn't know I needed this!
I use iCloud for all of my files. Everything I own is in there. This makes it super easy to browse and find what I need without having to open a new Finder window.
FANTASTIC!
Folder Peek is a perfect example of "Do one thing and do it well." It gives you one-click access to whatever you want. The app is absolutely superb, and it's very simple. Make a folder fill it with files, aliases, folders, or whatever you want to always have fast access to. This app puts that folder in your menu bar with a custom icon of your choice. In fact, you can put multiple folders in your menu bar. If you're old enough to remember the classic Mac OS from the 80s & 90s, you'll remember the old Apple Menu, which basically put a folder in your menu bar. This app does that, but it does it better because you can have multiple folders in your menu bar. Fantastic! Five stars, without a doubt. If there was a rating higher than five stars, I'd rate it even higher. Love it!
Very handy program
This is a very useful program if you wanat very quick access to particular folder. Especially, you can open the folder with IDE or Editor which is really uesful for opening projects associated with the folder.
Folder Peek - just the best!
Folder Peek offers the best qualities of macOS software: usefulness, customizability and beauty. Add to this superb Developer responsiveness and you have a rare find: Folder Peek is among the best menubar apps ever written. It can be a simple application launcher or a nuanced, user-defined navigator of the macOS folder and file system. I recommend this software to every mac user!
Great app and great developer!
This is an extremely useful app for putting any folder in the menubar for quick access. I made a feature request and the developer added it in a few weeks, which was amazing. Thank you!
- You can now also choose a custom icon for the main menu bar item if you have enabled the setting to show all folders in a single menu bar item.
