Can not set up outlet. The screen that asks me to rename and change people locks up. Will not accept. I have tried multiple combinations an even Android version. Same issue. No in app prompt if there is error. The plugs are junk if app doesn’t work. No more Edi products for me.
Junk
I have four EDIMax plugs. All are SP-2101W with firmware v2.08. I can connect two of them to this app no problem. Whenever I connect the third EDIMax, in any sequence, one of the previously connected plugs disconnects and can’t reconnect. I have reset all plugs to factory default (several times) using the app and using the reset button. I have removed and reinstalled the app. I have come to the realization that EDI software has defects, and the products are junk. I will NEVER purchase another EDI product after this complete waste of time and money.
Wi-Fi password unknown. Can not connect without a password.
This device has been nerve racking trying to set it up.
Can’t select English
The app starts up with a Czech UI. Have gone through all settings with the aid of Goigle translate but switching to English doesn’t seem to be an option. Until I can use it in a language I understand I will reserve my final judgment. 2 stars in the meantime.
