iMac version has not worked in years!
I also concur with the most recent reviews.It works in my ipad and iphone. Bought two new imacs.... same stuff happened when installed. Won't make the conection. and if it does the VPN reveals your true IP address and DNS, even though it shows connected. It REALLY DOES NOT LIKE YOU SWITCHING LOCATIONS. It to totally glitch out, continually trying to connect, freezing up the internet. I removed the profile and had to delete the network config. to free up internet access for use. I E-Mailed Codi Mills.... MANY times over the years and she is great. But there is only so many times I can Reinstall your program.... And Patrick Jackson (CTO).... He Totally ignores my Emails. I told him whats going on. I think there primary focus is on mobile divices at this point. So can only recomend it for iPhone and iPad. What a shame:-(

I haven't used this in years and have uninstalled everywhere -- yet they just charged me $30! This is a dark pattern money grab from an app that never worked wekk to begin with. DO NOT USE!

I first puchased this app several years ago, and gave it an excellent rating. At some point, the app simply stopped working. When I turn it on it basically blocks me from accessing the internet. In order to browse, I have to turn it off. Completely pointless. I've contacted Support on several occasions, and attempted to describe my problem, but their solutions do not work, or they work for a single day and don't work again. Do not buy this don't download it. It is disfunctional at the support is unhelpful and useless.

Not sure why others are complaining, but i've had no issues and my connection is very fast - very few vpns provide speeds as fast as your ISP alone. Blocking is great too. Probably most of these people have bloated macs and haven't unisntalled other VPNs that are causing adverse issues.

How often do you find yourself needing your VPN live on BOTH you desktop/laptop AND your mobile device at the same time? Probably very infrequently if at all. So why when using the same Apple ID one has to pay for iOS sepearately than for MacOS seems pretty cheesy. Others like ProtonVPN have managed to apply a more common sense approach, might be worth copying ;)

I purchased the premium app, because I had learned that it would now work for Chrome... When I try to upgrade to premium from Chrome, it just takes me to the App Store, with no option to buy directly from Disconnect. Doing it this way, it seems ONLY to protect Safari. Now Safari isn't a bad browser, but I don't use it, at all. To add to the madness, when I click on the settings gear cog, click "Quit disconnect premium" to shutdown and restart the app, it no longer shows protection for even Safari... At this point, I am just done dealing with it. The concept behind this app is great, but it is horriby impemented. The information regarding its capabilities and compatibility on their site is also sub-par, at best. I will be canceling my Premium subscription, and I'm a bit upset that I just wasted $36 on nothing more than a "good idea". I highly recommend that you avoid this product, until it gets to the point of actually functioning as advertised.
