Dash View is the best way to view both Sentry Incidents and Saved Clips on your device. No need for a computer, just plug your TeslaCam USB into your device with an adaptor. Using powerful AI, Dash View shows thumbnails of the cause of the sentry incident and jumps right to the time the event occurred. You can also export great composite videos (and time lapses). Note: This app requires an adaptor, that works with the Files app, to connect your TeslaCam drive to your device. Some devices may require a powered adaptor. - Easy to use UI - AI powered thumbnails - View all clips synchronised - Automatically jumps to time of sentry incident (don’t waste time) - Quickly delete events - Export timelapses and combined videos - See what is taking up storage on drive - Smooth playback even at 4x speed Download the best TeslaCam footage viewer on the App Store!
useless when it crashes so often
I'm still looking for a great dash cam viewer, and tried this one again - it still crashes while just viewing clips.
I Really wish the crashing was fixed!
If this app didn't crash so often, it would be perfect for me! But I have been suing it for 10 minutes and it's crashed at least 8 times...... Pretty sad that it hasnt been looked into.
Mostly Good, Still Some Essential Controls Missing
The 4-up playback is the major feature and works well. Still, there are simple controls that we expect in all MacOS applications that are missing here. Wanna switch from 1x playback to 0.5x playback? You hafta click through 2x, 3x, 4x, 8x, 16x, then once more to 0.5x. A better control is necessary. How about key press shortcuts for these speeds (as in other video players? How about key press shortcuts for jump-back-10-seconds, jump-forward, and pause/play? How about a wider control for the playhead so that scubbing the video is easier and more precise? In short, look at the best desktop video players that allow convenient and useful control of playback, and copy those features. Also, when opening a clip, the resulting window always opens in the same place at the same size. If a user adjusts that size, how about having the next clip open with the same position and dimensions instead of making the user reposition the window with each clip? Also, I haven't figured out yet how to delete lots of clips all at once. There doesn't seem to be a way to select multiple clips so that a single delete command will do the trick.
Good start, lots of room for improvement
Really nice to have a cross-platform app for viewing these videos. Some suggestions: - support scrubbing by scrolling on Mac - resolve hangs on iOS app - let us pause using the space bar!
Useful app, but crashes
V1.2.1 seems to crash easily when viewing clips or deleting them on Big Sur. I like that this app is recently updated, so hopefully the developer is active, and looks at the crash reports. it would be nice to see an easier way to delete a clip group. Also the scrubber seems to disappear when I'm using it to scan forward.
Doesn’t work with iXpand drive
This app is useless for me if I can’t get it to work with the SanDisk iXpand drive which is what I use for sentry mode.
Nice
Nice UI..but it crashes ALOT.
