This app always shows your current latency to a server in the statusbar. You can use a URL (google.com for example) or a IP. In the settings you can select your refresh interval and the URL.
Perfect
I used to use a tool called autoping and was looking for replacement. Current Latency is PERFECT. .2s updates while I am remote let me know how good my connection is. Worth every...dollar.
Actively shows your latency at the top, great feature!
Very simple tool that does exactly what it says it will in the description and works well. I really like that the latecny in milliseconds are right there on the top status bar. Easy to monitor latency as I surf the web. Also great to compair your personal VPNs latency when connected to the VPN versus when your not connected to your VPN. Displays a red circle/ball icon in place of the latency numbers when the connection drops, cool feature! Thanks for creating this one!
Yes, current latency, but I want more
It’s nice to see current latency, but I want more. I want to see the latency history. Maximum, minimum, average pingtimes at the minimum. Soem option to show when latency got high, identify patterns.
Like leaving a ping window open
I was having problems browsing, and I noticed my ping to Google was up to 2 sec, or timing out. This lets me have the same information without keeping a ping window open on screen. Also, I can ping by ip to 8.8.8.8, taking dns out of the picture. Just what I needed.
