Just click "Transmit" button, set your watch or clock to manual receive time signal, and place it nearby your iPhone/iPad's speaker, it will be calibrated in a few minutes. Clock Wave features: - Covers 5 major longwave time signal stations all over the world. * USA: WWVB * Japan: JJY * China: BPC * UK: MSF * DE: DCF77 - Automatically transmit the accurate time. * If your radio controlled watch/clock doesn't support station BPC, select station JJY manually to use in China. * If your radio controlled watch/clock doesn't support station MSF, select station DCF77 manually to use in UK. * If your radio controlled watch/clock support only a specified timezone or station, (e.g. Using a radio controlled clock support only JJY station in Australia.), select the watch/clock timezone manually in app settings.
Works well once configured
I needed this app for my Citizen watch that was made in Japan, thus can only get the Japanese signal. I set the app to the Japan “station”, and then selected Japanese domestic clock time zone. I then set the watch to receive the signal and left it to do its thing. It successfully set itself in 5 minutes, perhaps less. If you find it finishes but the hour is still off, this may be because the watch itself was set to adjust a few hours for a time zone change.

I originally tried a free app that was supposed to do the same thing, but it didn’t work. So, I decided to buy this one hoping it’d work and be worth the $2. Thankfully, I can say it is! Works great for my G-Shock whenever I need to maniacally receive the time.

I needed this app for my Citizen watch that was made in Japan, thus can only get the Japanese signal. I set the app to the Japan “station”, and then manually selected my time zone of UTC-8 for Pacific time. I then set the watch to receive the signal and left it to do its thing. It successfully set itself but the hour was off by a few hours. This was because the watch itself was set to adjust a few hours for a time zone change. I set my watch to roll back a few hours and it was good to go!

Speaking only for iPhone 12 mini. “Radio Wave Sync” didn’t work in any position- even with sound switches on and in all settings. Tried two hours- then got this app. Worked on one Gshock model. Tried old app on the other Gshock, old app didn’t work for it either, then tried this app and it worked again…….In short- this app worked for both Gshocks on the first try. The other app never worked. Again- iPhone 12 mini and Gshocks only
