Invaluable.
This app *just works*. It cleans my desktop every day, and files it away. I've been using it for years, and have months and months of happy archives across multiple machines. The only feature I'd consider wanting is the abiliy to reset the 24-hour timer, when I move to a new timezone. But honestly, the simplicity is worth it. If you just want a clean desktop, but still have the ability to find things later, this your app. For the people complaining in the reviews: - it cleans your deskop at the same time, every day. It's not the app who's chaotic, it's you. - Notifications? Turn them off. It's never been an issue here. For the developer, thank you. This is one of the rare apps that I download every single time I switch computers, and have for years. Your app is foundational to how I use my mac, and I'm so grateful you made it. Thank you. 🙏
Random cleaning
It randomly takes items from my desktop without telling me what or when. Sometimes I don't want things cleaned, or I want items on my desktop, but this app doesn't clean anything else
Good app but annoying popups
I’d even be willing to pay a few bucks to get the benefit of this app. The concept is brilliant. However, just about every day I receive a small growl notification on my desktop asking me to check out apps like FocusList which I have to click to close. Are you kidding me, marketing a focus app while breaking my focus? I understand the need to make money but would prefer if they had a less intrusive way to do so. Removing the app.
Great for my needs...
I love the simplicity. I don’t get any nag ad’s or popups as some other reviews claim. Very unobtrusive.
Brings Order to My Chaos!
When I moved from a 13” MacBook Pro to my current 15”, I forgot to reinstall this app - But as my desktop became ever more cluttered, even chaotic, I recently remembered this app. So glad I remembered it! Order is back!
Whats new in 1.03? nagware
unsolicited alerts! genius. guess its time to switch to Hazel for this simple task
It was fine just the way it was.
This app used to work perfectly. Now, it feels like shareware. Annoying notifications and numerous web requests to an analytics service. I would have just opted to pay for a “Pro” version if it meant my computer was not going to send out data without my consent and harass me with notifications to use some other app I had no interest in using. App removed.
