Just What I Needed
I replaced my Apple keyboard with a Logitech keyboard that has much longer battery life. Unfortunately, the new keyboard does not have a caps lock indicator. This software is just what I needed! The indicator allows you to adjust how long it stays on the screen and you can set it so it is color coded (Green or Red). This is even better than an indicator on the keyboard! Highly recommended if you need to know if caps lock is on or off.

The sound alert rarely plays on my Mac Pro. So, I still find the caps lock after I have types many charactors. THIS IS a flawed product. (there was no alert sound when I hit CAPS LOCK above)

I moved from windows to Mac about 9 months ago and this was one feature i really missed. I use a wierless keyboard with no caps lock indicatior, so this was crucial in windows. I tried three other is Mac before this one, this is by far the best. Being able to color the icon with status is super nice. The only thing i wish was that the icon in the bar was colored solid (not an outline) to catch the attention more. Other than that it great. Don't even both with the other ones, you wind up buying this one anyway.

This app is surprisingly helpful. I don't know how often I hit caps lock -- or don't hit it -- by mistake, but this saves me. The only issue I have is that it is not compatible with Bartender4. I want to hide it from the menubar, but it keeps reappearing.

As in: I don't have to tear my hair out for not noticing that the caps lock key is on. Now if the obviously very talented maker of this app would put his or her talents into designing another app which would automatically resize the width of columns to the longest filename when a finder window opens, I would feel absolutely in heaven.

For a 20 year Windows user, this App is an absolute necessity... just buy it! Due to my inxperience with Mac, I had an issue with the menulet disappearing at each startup. (... didn't know I could get to Preferences by clicking on the menulet and selecting "Load on Startup") The developers answered my question quickly and succinctly. I found even more capability then expected... colored icon (green for Caps Off, red for Caps On), duration of the Icon display, and turning a tone on or off. Works great on my Macbook Pro M1.

Add CLI tool for checking the caps lock status from the terminal. It's located in CapsLocker.app/Contents/SharedSupport/CapsLockerCLI and simply prints true or false depending on the current caps lock state.
