Brew Meister - Collects results from the digital density meter EasyDens or the digital refractometer SmartRef by Anton Paar. The EasyDens & SmartRef deliver highly precise results in seconds and allows you to determine the extract content of your beer. In combination with the Brew Meister app, you can monitor the fermentation process of your handcrafted beer and store the measurement results within customizable batches. The Brew Meister mobile app supports you in the management, visualization and exportation of data. FEATURES Brew Meister reports results in the following units: • Density [g/cm³] • Specific Gravity current temperature [SG] • Specific Gravity 20/20 [SG 20/20] • Specific Gravity 20/04 [SG 20/04] • Specific Gravity 15/15 [SG 15/15] • °Plato [°P] (ATC) • °Brix [°Bx] (ATC) • Alcohol Content [% ABV] • Temperature readings are reported in °Celsius [°C] or °Fahrenheit [°F]. • The concentration values shown on your phone are already temperature-corrected, so you need no further calculations and correction tables. • The EasyDens is adjusted using the app and distilled water. For density and concentration measurements, you will require an EasyDens by Anton Paar: http://www.easydens.com For refractive index readings, you will require a SmartRef by Anton Paar: http://www.my-smartref.com SUPPORT Contact us at [email protected] or [email protected] PRIVACY POLICY https://www.easydens.com/pages/privacy-policy https://www.my-smartref.com/policies/privacy-policy TERMS https://www.easydens.com/pages/legal-notice https://www.my-smartref.com/policies/legal-notice --- Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually at the rate selected depending on the subscription plan. Subscription fee? Nickel and diming customers
The app and hardware work great, but charging a subscription for basic functionality is a real bad look.
Love it!
Wish I had bought this years ago. Love the features of the combo of the dens and refractometer. Wish it had notes per reading and could be synced with other brewing apps.
Go F Yourself
After $300 for the device, raising the monthly 100% is robbery. I’m hope you choke on bonus for raising revenue. 1 star for your predatory tactics.
Just a gimmick to sell ABV readers
App is crazy counter-intuitive to use and the easiest method to record information is to connect it to an electronic hydrometer the app makers want to sell you.
Crippled app to sell unnecessary subscription
For a $350-400 tool, I expect this app to be free and self-contained. They could store all your batches in iCloud, but instead are trying to upsell you on their own cloud storage service. Then they split the functionality into three separate apps so they can sell you three subscriptions. I would think twice before buying another Anton Paar product.
Smart ref
I like it more and more every time I use it makes brewing a pleasure
Awesome device!
Awesome device! Worth the money honestly! Only thing I wish was available is an online account where you can pull the data up on your computer and save info. Also would be nice to change the date format as well. I usually take the data and convert it to a line graph and save it to the brew log, for a quick reference.
