A tool for those how work with bending machines.
Decimal points missing
Pretty straight forward calculator for rotary draw tube bending application, required tooling prediction, where you enter the usual variables of tube OD, Wall thickness, bend Radius, etc. and application calculates what Mandrels, Wiper dies and other tooling is required. So basic data entry is essential, but for the life of me I can not find a reasonable way to insert a decimal point into the numerical entries. No decimal, or even comma per European norm, to be found on key pad. Only workaround is to intentionally enter false whole number sizes with units set to “mm”, then switch units to “inches”, which then converts your data input values to probably include a decimal, which you then carefully re-edit the number around the decimal point to get your final target! WHY BOTHER! Too bad, because otherwise app looks pretty handy to use w/ multi-stack benders, store previous data, etc. I’m HOPING AMOB is listening and will post the non-intuitive secret of inserting decimals! Then I’d use it all the time with high review!
