You must be kidding
This is the best Virgin can do? Awful app. Hardly functional. Even the check in part of the app is a disaster. Seriously starting to whether I picked the right cruise line. I expected some far far better from Sir Richard. The app is pretty, but shallow and poorly designed.
Transatlantic April 2024
Slow to download, slow to respond. Tells me that I am not connected to the WiFi when it is available. A nuisance to use!
The worst to manage your cruise
This is the 3rd cruise line I’ve tried and I have been very excited except for my experience using this all is really making me pause and concerned! I can’t see the reservations that are connected, I can’t tell the hours we will be in port, I don’t know how many spots are left in excursions and trying to book for our multiple rooms is not working, I’m getting errors with no explanation and sometimes the excursions just disappear. I’m to pay and can’t keep track of what I’m required to do on the app vs going to the website. I also continue to getting the spinning logo and the pages don’t load, this is one of the worst apps I have ever used
Unacceptably slow performance
This is the slowest app I’ve installed since the first iPhone. I was hoping the update would speed things up, but it’s now twice as slow. Each button, each screen takes 5-10 seconds to load, so if you have to tap 8 things just to find the time the ship docks on the third day, you’re waiting one full minute, then another minute to return to what you actually wanted to do.
Needs more language support
English only apps are unacceptable at this day and age. It should at minimum support the top 50-60 languages based on population or cruise ticket sales. Specifically my elder parents who only speak tutkish struggled mightily with this app.
Doesn’t Open
I had trouble before and during our last cruise. Now when I want to get the dates we can start booking reservations the app won’t even open. You can see the difference in rating compared to Virgin Atlantic. They need some of those app developers to come help Voyages.
