For each travel, you can: - change your reservation - change your ticket - request a refund - enter your journey in the calendar In the "Season Tickets" section you can display ordinary regional season tickets purchased via the app or the www.trenitalia.com website TRAIN STATUS You can: - check the real time tracking of a train on the current day - show Railway Station Indicator Board (Departures/Arrivals) PUSH NOTIFICATIONS You can set a notification service about train and some train route status CartaFRECCIA You can check your CartaFRECCIA data, balance points and statement Voiceover update/change in partnership with the “OSI working group of the Italian Union of Blind and Partially Sighted People ONLUS”
iPhone version??
This is a great app but I wonder why I can download it to my iPad, but not my iPhone. It would be much more useful on my iPhone as we travel around. Thank you!

UPDATE: the app now works for iOS6! If you spend anytime in Italy this is a must have. I was visiting Rome for the day. When it was time to return to Firenze, I jumped in a taxi, pulled up this app and had my return ticket purchased for the next train before we arrived at the station. The tickets can be sent to email or SMS to phone. This app used to work great. I've bought many train tickets using it. It was easy to purchase or change tickets. Since upgrading to iOS 6 it has stopped working. I would give it 5 stars if it worked again.

Non consente l'acquisto di biglietti su iPad, app doesn't let you purchase tickets on an iPad. Trenitalia's website is notoriously bad, failing to provide even the most basic services and information. (Examples include having to enter an e-mail to make a purchase, then finding the e-mail field inactive.) This app shares the same ineffective technology. Trenitalia boasts that you can purchase tickets and even get paperless tickets through your mobile device, but the fares offered are "not purchasable". So what's the point?
