Slow and has multiple stops
I have booked two tickets for more than $200 For a fast night train Unfortunately, it was so slow and it did stop multiple times So frustrated, and disappointed.
SJ Unreliable
At least 2-3 times a week SJ is late, they have car issues or something is preventing them from being on time. What’s worse is that the customer service is combative when trying find a resolution for failed trips which are the fault of SJ. For example: trains have maybe unplanned final stops (a few stops before their final destination) and told the passengers (including myself) that we needed to “sort out” the rest of our journey on our own and they wouldn’t compensate for that. Very poor experience.
It’s for Swedes only.
Tried to open account. It requires Swedish personal number. Remove from USA and other App stores Very annoying
Works for US Users
At first like some others in US I thought I did need a personal ID number from Sweden. However, I reached out in the app chat and she was able to set me up with an account and emailed me a link to finish account creation. If you make your first booking on the website and click the button to remember or save the card you are using, you can also make purchases in the app as an American. I was also able to click the button to add a 2nd payment card later. I was not so lucky with the Volvo On Demand app.😢
Tried to change ticket/ cancel
Terrible I have spent hours with no results and even went to the station central in StK.. you have eliminated people to people booth.. Shame on you .. we who are over 50/ 60 are still alive and need a humongous not some electrical wires AI .. no thank you ..

It took a few tried to learn the app but once that was done it has been super! So easy to plan or change a trip.
