Note: You must have software version 12.0 or greater on your iPhone/iPad. This app takes the single engine rate of climb (SEROC), the Accelerate/Stop (Accel/Stop), and the Single Engine Service Ceiling (SESC) charts in the Beech POH and converts them to a simple, quick, and easy way to estimate your SEROC, Accel/Stop distance & the Single Engine Service Ceiling (SESC) for the Beech Baron's 55/58 on your iPhone /iPad with IO470, IO520, or IO550 engines. The app now will also calculate the SEROC, Accel/Stop and the SESC for the BE58P Baron. The app is NOT applicable for the BE55 1961-1963 models, or the BE56/58TC Barons. Accuracy + or - 50 FPM for the SEROC, + or - 100 feet for Accel/Stop and + or - 200 feet for the Single Engine Service Ceiling (500' for the BE58P). Any mods done on your aircraft that affect performance or weight limits are not considered in the calculations. To see the user reviews, click on "Reviews", then "All Versions".
Great App!!
Greatly appreciated!! Increases safety of each flight!
Pilot
Great App!!! No Baron Pilot should be without it!
Excellent app
This is a quick way to check for sufficient runway length and performance capability for the Beech Baron. It's easy to use and requires readily available data. I recommend it to all Baron pilots.
Amazing accuracy
Great app with amazing accuracy when compared to the POH. Be certain to read the Disclaimer which cautions on certain aircraft that this is not applicable for. Kudos to the developer for making SEROC easy to estimate.
TX
This app is easy to use and accurate providing the most important performance numbers. It will keep us all safe.
Simple, easy, useful
Great app. Thanks for putting it together. It's very easy and quick to use and provides helpful information without having to break out a ruler and magnifying glass to read the chart in the POH. For any future versions, any chance it could show takeoff distance over a 50' obstacle (both engines running)?
No Excuses
This app is so easy to use that there should be no excuse for not making it a part of your preflight planning.
