Great Tour!
Perfect for the pandemic when we are trying to avoid crowds. The narrative was interesting and just the right length at each stop, not too long. I would highly recommend.
“White Washing History”
This app largely skipped the multiple historical sites dedicated to Slavery in the city. In one it has Sherman’s HQ and labels the Civil War as “the war between the States,” a tell-tale of the “Lost-Cause” mythology.
EXCELLENT TOUR!
Great app to see all the interesting places. Map really helped. Best money we spent on this vacation. Thanks!
Good Introduction
I had only a couple of hours to kill in Savannah, and this app was great. Quick overview of some highlights of the city with professional narration. Some of the function is a little quirky, but nothing major.
Uninformative
This app doesn't have enough information. Save your money and buy a book or get a free map of the squares when you get there.
Great way to learn about the City
We considered the $23 trolley tour- but it was 100 mins. and we wanted to walk Savannah. App gave great concise info of the history of Savannah for 8.99. Worth it!
Should be a lot better for the $
1. No way to move map info on left to larger area to right 2. Extremely short descriptions; overly relies on links to describe site. Some links just general purpose or broken. 3. No internal links to move readily from one feature to another. 4. Very limited in suggested tours. Superfluous event info.
