Requires too much data bandwidth
Unusable on an edge network, which unfortunately is the only connection you can get in many suburban areas.

The only way to log in after registering is with a mobile pin they send via SMS. If you don’t get the SMS there is no way to log in, and you are stuck.

How complicated can buying a train ticket be? RMV has the answer! They’ve made it almost impossible to do anything with this app, with an extraordinary amount of pointless security hoops to jump through. Doesn’t seem to accept credit cards any longer. Even if you succeed in registering (and that is a Herculean task), the app will most likely crash or just tell you that you haven’t registered. Not fit for purpose, and a major embarrassment for RMV, but I doubt they care

I can just say this is disaster, it’s not user friendly at all, I can design this app better than who ever did this. So many extra steps to do anything, clarity is zero, good luck to go to next page when you are on the top of the page 🤦🏻♀️you have to scroll all the way down. It’s not so hard to hire A GOOD UX DESIGNER.

Seit 3 Wochen(!!!) hat meine Verbindung täglich eine Verspätung seit mindestens 5 Minuten! Wenn die Verspätung mal 10 Minuten beträgt und man möchte eine Erstattung anmelden, funktioniert das Formular weder in der App noch auf der Website. Und für so ein Drecks Unternehmen ist man gezwungen 150€ im Monat zu zahlen, unglaublich.

This is a local public transit app that makes it harder to buy a bus ticket than booking an international flight. There is unnecessarily too many security layers. You cannot pay with a bank or credit card only with direct debit or PayPal. So if you don’t have a German bank account forget about using this app. Crashes regularly. After update it informed me that it is migrating to a new Sepa payment system. After accepting terms it just states an error so I can’t buy a ticket.

You can purchase the 9-euro-ticket through the RMV app from June 1 2022 onwards. This update also contains bugfixes and minor improvements. We wish you, as always, a pleasant journey and stay healthy!
