Crashes
Love the app, but after updating to iOS 15 it crashes when I try to add an item to a category on a trip packing list.

Keeps me and my wife’s gear organized! Super great to be able to share a list together, and check off things as we pack out bags! Also if you already use lighterpack you can just easily import your list with a url and boom you’re ready to start checking things off ;) This is my favorite pack list app by far!! Helps me keep my weight down on the trail 👍 Beautiful all, with attention to detail, constantly being updated and the features keep coming!!

After the latest update this app IS USELESS! You can’t switch between ounces, grams, lbs etc.. it just kinda randomly chooses which weight scale it will give you every time you open it. Also, I removed all consumables and it still shows consumables equivalent to my worn items. The whole point of this app is to divide items and calculate weight for backpacking trips and it does none of the above. Going back to lighterpack.com or hopefully finding another app. Sad because it used to be useful.

I started out using the lighter pack website but it didn’t work well on mobile. This app does everything lighterpack did and more! I like that it’s designed to be a checklist because it actually helps me pack for adventures. The app supports importing from lighterpack if you want to make the switch like I did. The developer is dedicated to making the app better and super helpful! I enjoy using the app for storing gear, sharing lists with friends, and packing for camping, skiing, and climbing. I highly recommend it!!

Update: received quick response from developer and a reinstall fixed the issue. Great app that I look forward to using mor to dial in my gear! Just upgraded to IOS 14.4 and the app shuts down right away. Hope to see an update soon!

This app is perfect for keeping an inventory of all my backpacking gear that includes the weight of each item. You can easily create custom gear and packing checklists and see the total weight after adding all of your items into the list. It’s a backpacking dream come true!!!
