App shows $54/day for a car rental. App crashed while I’m paying for the reservation. 2 minutes later the app price is $76/day for the exact same rental. I am gold status and called for help. 30 minute wait for customer service. I will no longer rent from Hertz.

Bait and switch. Advertises a low price for rental then bangs you over the head with supplemental coverage at checkout that you can’t opt out of. Got the same rental for half the price through Enterprise app.

Tried calling Hertz to get a toll charge from a past rental reversed and put on a new card, as the old card was no longer valid, but was pushed off to another long queue and nobody helped me in the end.

The app has become unusable for me in recent update. When I go to remove or add a discount code the app gets stuck and unable to navigate out of the screen. There is no way for me to book car this via the app now.

Your app changed my pick-up and drop-off times (but got the dates right), which I did not recognize until reviewing all details at the end…so I had to go back to the beginning and make the changes for the right times; the real irritation was that because I went back to the beginning I had to re-enter all other details including credit card # and billing address, even though when I entered that info the first time it was supposed to be saved.

Hertz needs to make promotions and CDP options clearer. I came across about 5 deals but not sure which ones took and would have given me the most discounts. And it seems it’s different in the app than online.
