Crap.
This app is useless.
For Non-Europeans...
When setting up payment methods, it would seem that Americans and other non-European people wouldn’t be able to proceed. I’m from the States and I simply entered my address as I normally would, but chose “Germany” for my country. Then I chose “Credit Card” because US debit cards won’t work as a debit card with the system HandyTicket is using. After that, I entered all of my Visa debit card information, validated it, and saved it. Works perfectly. 🙂 Cheers!!
Needs to accept payment from foreign credit cards
Please get with the times!
Useless
Crashes always when changing region. Useless.
Stürzt ständig ab
Seit v2.0 stürzt diese App direkt nach dem Ticket-Kauf meistens ab. Favoriten-Funktion geht überhaupt nicht mehr. Schade.
Not fit for purpose.
Hello! There is a big downside - that app and the system are not designed to accept all around the world credit/debit cards and/or PayPal accounts. It accepts only few EU country cards and addresses. It was mentioned in someones review back to 2012 and nothing done. To my mind it lets down all that German idea about sustainabilty and saving the environment. It also would make compliance with Germany rules much easier when you able to buy ticket before even leaving home/hotel and not looking for FahrCard vending machine. Thousands and thousands tourists could just easily buy handy-tickets rather that paper tickeys all around the Germany. There are great examples how great e-ticket system works - Deutsche Bahn (DB), BVG - Berlin, MVG - Munich transport systems apps already accept worldwide payment cards.
Keeps crashing all the time
Unstable useless crappy app. Will have to get a refund of my deposit as I can no longer access my account. Stay away from this waste of time.
