Fear mongering.
Every blog read by locals is full of fear mongering. In fact one article was titled “Vacation Anywhere Else But Here” as if they greatly dislike white tourists. According to them all we do is take take take. Well news flash nasty locals WE PAY YOUR SALARIES SO WITHOUT US YOU'RE HOMELESS. Be grateful you have tourists supporting MANY locals businesses. When people come to florida we don’t make them plant orange trees and clean. Our local government officials handle those upkeep tasks. We never make tourists feel unwelcome ever. Here at Dukes Canoe Club spending $200+ 2xs a day on meals the servers act like we are an inconvenience to them by being patrons. Hawaii has a bunch of lazy humans that don’t like to actually work. Everyone wants all the money without working for it. This place is pretty but you’ll be much more comfortable and welcomed in florida. We have it all there. Beaches, theme parks, and people who want you to be there and welcome you with kindness. Here the locals lie about the crime to make you fear the place to deter you from coming. It’s not our fault your local mayor etc have failed your local economy. In addition the mayors attempt to push through a tourist annual fee is laughable. It proves he’s failed to manage you properly. You guys are your own problem not the tourists bringing in all the money to support you bunch of ungrateful humans.

The app looks amazing, runs well and has a great design; it looks like it has literally anything I need for an upcoming trip, but a lot of it is inaccessible simply because you can’t log in or sign up for an account… there’s an error every time, and you can’t even read it. Otherwise, it’s a great app

The app worked for one day. I got the app so I could plan our excursions as well as stay up to date on COVID protocols. The app stopped working. I could not log in. I reset my pass word three times, it did not help.

I tried various ways to create an account (based on options provided on the page). Nothing worked, therefore cannot use some of the features. Also error codes cannot be seen on the ‘create acct’ page (covered up by ‘create account’ banner). When I tried other ways, the error code was visible, but it doesn’t explain why it’s not working. For an official app provided by the State’s Tourism Bureau, very disappointing to encounter such basic issue! Also it took a long time to open. And the internet was not the issue. I’ll delete it and find a better app.
